Our Cat Hotel offers 7 spacious, modern premium suites for our guests, each can accommodate up to 2 cats (3 & 4 cat suite available on request). We ensure that we give your cat the best experience with great care and individual attention so that you can fully relax and enjoy your time away. EXCELLENT FACILITIES
We offer brand new Premium rated suites supplied and expertly fitted by Pedigree Pens, the leading suppliers of catteries in the country. These are up to the minute UPVC suites offering high quality sleeping and exercise facilities to our guests.
PEACEFUL SETTING
Set in our own beautifully landscaped back garden overlooking fields, we can ensure that our guests have a peaceful and relaxing stay. We are easily reached from all parts of Nottingham and the surrounding areas thanks to our great location.
SMALL BUSINESS, HUGE CARE
We are a small cattery with 7 suites to house 14 cats. This means we can offer a great amount of care and attention to your cat. We will ask you for personalised information about your cat to ensure we really provide the best for them whilst they are in our care.
PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE OWNERS
We are a small team made up of owners Zoe and Dave. Zoe is a former teacher and Dave a former Business Operations Director. In busier times Fran (Zoe’s daughter, currently studying at university) will assist.
Zoe holds a Level 3 Award in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare. Zoe, Dave, and Fran are all certified in Feline First Aid and are DBS checked.
We are lifelong cat owners and cat lovers. We currently have two ginger boys: Hector and Percy. They are enjoying testing all the equipment! Please see the pictures!
WHAT WE PROVIDE
A newly constructed UVPC Premium suite, complete with sleeping area and exercise area. A shelf for looking at the fields, garden, and the passing wildlife. A ramp for our less able guests, or just to play on! Each suite is equipped with its own 400W heater complete with thermostatic control. We also have heated pads for our more senior visitors. Our fold down windows ensure that your cat has fresh air and interesting smells throughout the day.
A bed: we are using a plastic pod type bed, this is great for hiding in. We provide a cushion for these. Every cat has its own bed. Please bring bedding your cat enjoys sleeping on, this will also remind them of home.
Food and water: we offer most popular brands of both wet and dry food (please see the booking form). If your cat has a specialist diet, then please provide adequate supplies of that for their stay. Water will be changed throughout the day so it’s always cool and fresh, but if you require a water fountain in the suite, please let us know (chargeable).
Food enrichment: treats such as Dreamies and Lickies, together with tuna and chicken.
Enrichment: we will play with your cat(s) throughout their stay, please bring toys along that your cat enjoys playing with (we do have a great selection too), we will provide a scratching tile but if you wish to bring along your cat’s scratching post please do. We provide puzzle feeders and slow feeding bowls are available too. Background music with voices is played during the day.
Grooming: please let us know if your cat would like grooming and supply brushes/combs.
Administering medication: we will administer vet prescribed medication (cream, tablets, liquid) at no extra cost however we will not be able to inject medication.

Monday – Friday AM 9:30-11:30am
Monday – Friday PM 5:00-6:00pm
Saturday and Sunday 9:30-11:30am
Please note the following : All check-ins/outs must be booked prior to arrival, as we operate on pre-booked 10 minute slots due to licensing restrictions.
- We will be caring for your cats, but not open for check-in/check-out on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. All bank holidays are charged at normal prices.
- Minimum stay – we offer a minimum stay of three days (two nights). There is no surcharge for this.
DEPOSITS AND DAYS CHARGED
- 25% non-refundable deposit (minimum £50) required for bookings to be confirmed
- Balances should be cleared 4 weeks before check- in
- Day of arrival, day of departure and all days in between will be chargeable
- We are happy to accept payment in the form of direct bank transfer
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We require 4 weeks’ notice to cancel your booking, if we can fill the availability then the remaining balance will not be payable, but the initial deposit is non-refundable
- Where cancellations are made on or within 4 weeks prior to arrival, 100% of the total outstanding balance will be charged.
- If you reduce the number of days booked on or within 4 weeks prior to arrival, you will be charged for the total number of days originally booked
My two cats were booked in for 3 weeks with Cat tails & Dreams. We received lots of communication via WhatsApp about our cats and how they’d been throughout the course of their stay. They got regular check-ins and treats throughout the day, and I knew that leaving our cats with Zoe and Dave was a much better decision than leaving them at home for the duration of our holiday.
I felt really confident about leaving my cats in the capable hands of Zoe and Dave. They have a clear passion for the wellbeing of cats in their care and it is shown in what they do.

Zoe and Dave are incredibly friendly and attentive—they took the time to learn about snowys eating habits and general health. I received regular updates and photos, which really reassured me while I was away. It was clear he was comfortable, relaxed, and even enjoying his little holiday!
The facilities are clean, cozy. I picked up a happy, well-groomed cat who clearly had a great time. Like he went from one home to another

The rooms were not only warm and inviting, but also big enough for our cat to move around freely. There were separate sleeping and play areas, a cute shelf overlooking peaceful fields, a ramp, and even a warm heated pad it honestly felt like a luxury stay for cats! 💖
One thing that really made us feel at ease was how they let us bring all of our cat’s things his toys, bowl, blanket, scratch post and everything that made him feel at home 🧸 It was such a thoughtful touch that meant a lot.
The registration form was super detailed and well put together, which made us feel like they really wanted to get to know our cat’s needs properly. They even made note of his favorite treats, his brushing routine, and his medication schedule 📝
He stayed for 12 days, and the whole time we were away, Zoe and Dave kept us completely updated! 📸 We got constant photos, videos, and messages on WhatsApp and every time we reached out with a question, they responded straight away. That kind of communication meant everything to us 💬💕
Now let’s talk about Zoe and Dave… they were absolutely amazing. So friendly, genuine, and clearly true animal lovers 🥹 Even though we were their first customers, it felt like they’d been running this cat hotel for years. That’s how professional, kind, and confident they were. They really took away every worry we had about leaving our cat for the first time.
They even gave our cat some free toys to take home, which was the cutest surprise 🎁
I was honestly super anxious about the heat wave while we were gone and worried our cat might get too hot but they instantly reassured us that the suites are kept at a comfortable temperature at all times, with AC and thermostatic heating pads. Our little guy was totally comfortable the whole time.
He was also groomed regularly with his own brush, which we appreciated so much he looked so clean and happy when we picked him up ✨
They gave his medication with no issues at all, which made everything even easier for us. And to top it off, they gave us a special discount since they’d just opened – the price we got for 12 days was honestly amazing value considering the level of care and love he received 🐱
Cat Tails & Dreams honestly gave us such an incredible experience. From the beautiful suites to the thoughtful care, detailed updates, and the warmest people running it, every single detail was perfect. Zoe and Dave made us feel like our cat was in the safest and happiest place, and we couldn’t have asked for more 💛

Dave was flexible knowing how difficult it can be with timings/days. We even got a little video of Smithy and updates which was another thing that put out minds at ease seeing him, happy and safe.
