We offer Premium rated suites supplied and expertly fitted by Pedigree Pens, the leading suppliers of catteries in the country. These are up to the minute UPVC suites offering high quality sleeping and exercise facilities to our guests.

PEACEFUL SETTING                              

Set on a quite residential road, our cattery is situated in our beautifully landscaped back garden overlooking fields so that we can ensure that our guests have a peaceful and relaxing stay. We are easily reached from all parts of Nottingham and the surrounding areas thanks to our great location.

SMALL BUSINESS, HUGE CARE

We are a small cattery with 7 suites to house 14 cats. This means we can offer a great amount of care and attention to your cat. We will ask you for personalised information about your cat to ensure we really provide the best for them whilst they are in our care.

PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE OWNERS

We are a small team made up of owners Zoe and Dave. Zoe is a former teacher and Dave a former Business Operations Director.  In busier times Fran (Zoe’s daughter, currently studying at university) will assist.

Zoe holds a Level 3 Award in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare. Zoe, Dave, and Fran are all certified in Feline First Aid and are DBS checked.

We are lifelong cat owners and cat lovers. We currently have two ginger boys: Hector and Percy. They are enjoying testing all the equipment! Please see the pictures!

WHAT WE PROVIDE

A newly constructed UVPC Premium suite, complete with sleeping area and exercise area. A shelf for looking at the fields, garden, and the passing wildlife. A ramp for our less able guests, or just to play on! Each suite is equipped with its own 400W heater complete with thermostatic control. We also have heated pads for our more senior visitors. Our fold down windows ensure that your cat has fresh air and interesting smells throughout the day.

A bed: we are using a plastic pod type bed, this is great for hiding in. We provide a cushion for these. Every cat has its own bed. Please bring bedding your cat enjoys sleeping on, this will also remind them of home.

Food and water: we offer most popular brands of both wet and dry food (please see the booking form). If your cat has a specialist diet, then please provide adequate supplies of that for their stay. Water will be changed throughout the day so it’s always cool and fresh, but if you require a water fountain in the suite, please let us know (chargeable). 

Food enrichment: treats such as Dreamies and Lickies, together with tuna and chicken.

Enrichment: we will play with your cat(s) throughout their stay, please bring toys along that your cat enjoys playing with (we do have a great selection too), we will provide a scratching tile but if you wish to bring along your cat’s scratching post please do. We provide puzzle feeders and slow feeding bowls are available too. Background music with voices is played during the day.

Grooming: please let us know if your cat would like grooming and supply brushes/combs.

Administering medication: we will administer vet prescribed medication (cream, tablets, liquid) at no extra cost however we will not be able to inject medication.

Monday – Friday AM                 9:30-11:30am

Please note the following : All check-ins/outs must be booked prior to arrival, as we operate on pre-booked 10 minute slots due to licensing restrictions.

1. We will be caring for your cats, but not open for check-in/check-out on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. All bank holidays are charged at normal prices.
2. Minimum stay – we offer a minimum stay of three days (two nights). There is no surcharge for this.

DEPOSITS AND DAYS CHARGED

• 25% non-refundable deposit (minimum £50) required for bookings to be confirmed

• Balances should be cleared 4 weeks before check- in

• Day of arrival, day of departure and all days in between will be chargeable

• We are happy to accept payment in the form of direct bank transfer

CANCELLATION POLICY

• We require 4 weeks’ notice to cancel your booking, if we can fill the availability then the remaining balance will not be payable, but the initial deposit is non-refundable

• Where cancellations are made on or within 4 weeks prior to arrival, 100% of the total outstanding balance will be charged.

• If you reduce the number of days booked on or within 4 weeks prior to arrival, you will be charged for the total number of days originally booked
